Calling all Latin American performers aged 5 to 21 !

Carnaval del Pueblo is searching for the next rising star, and it could be YOU! ✨

Here’s the exciting deal:

• When & Where: Saturday, May 25th, Main Hall  Magdalen Hall –  Purbrook St, London SE1 3DQ ️
  • Rehearsals: 12 PM – 1:30 PM
  • Show: 1:30 PM – 3 PM
• Participation is FREE
• Prize:
  • Every participant gets a participation medal!
  • The winner will get £100 in vouchers to be spend at Plaza Latina and a trophy on the first round of competitions. She/He/They will be invited to participate in the final competition.
  • The winner of the final competition will perform at the prestigious Carnaval del Pueblo and
  • Get a professional video/recording production worth £500 to showcase their talent to the world!

• Dance: Bust a move and show off your rhythm!
• Sing: Belt out a tune and wow the audience!

• Visual Arts in Action: Live painting? Amazing!
• Magic: Make us disappear with your magical skills! 🪄

Perform in Spanish, Portuguese, or English – we celebrate the diversity within Latin America!

Selection Process:

A jury of esteemed professionals (including theatre teacher Analia Sanchez (Teatro por y para niños)  and thespian Cristina Martinez will select the winner based on their talent and stage presence.

The winner will be announced, but all participants will receive a recognition medal for their participation!
